Barton Malow boilermakers have experience with blast furnaces, hot strip mills, cold mills, galvanizing lines, power boilers, wastewater treatment plants, and other pressure vessels and related piping. Holding “PP” Pressure Piping, “A” Power Boiler Assembly, and “U” Pressure Vessel code stamps (ASME Sections I and VIII-Division 1, respectively), Barton Malow’s self-perform trades are focused on quality in the field. In addition to our ASME code work, Barton Malow proudly carries the “R” stamp for repair and alteration work as recognized by the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC).

Barton Malow offers a wide range of civil and concrete services led by a team of experts who are passionate about working in the most complex site conditions.  Our team focuses on getting the job done safely and cost-effectively by leveraging in-house GPS design, model integration, and productivity tracking. With a mobile fleet of heavy equipment, we can quickly move across the country to pour over a million cubic yards of concrete in Texas or break rock in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Barton Malow’s integrated self-perform team specializes in the procurement and installation of controlled environments, focusing on delivering a high-quality, timely controlled environment solution in conformance with the project’s ISO cleanliness standards. We are experienced in managing the turnkey execution of controlled environment projects, including leading and collaborating with design partners. Our dedicated team of controlled environment leaders and skilled union craft professionals have developed standard practices that allow us to safely and efficiently deliver high-value cleanroom, dry room, and other controlled environment solutions to our client partners.

Our Interiors team provides comprehensive construction project management, flooring, and finish services to a diverse range of clients across the country. Our teams also have experience with historical and architecturally significant properties and understand the unique requirements needed to preserve the original design while providing new technology, energy-saving materials, and modern conveniences for our clients.

Barton Malow’s refractory crews are able to deploy on a moment’s notice to complete emergency repairs allowing our clients to quickly resume production. Our teams have a broad expertise in installing complex refractory solutions for Steel Mills, Petro-Chem, Boiler and Pressure Vessels across the country.

Barton Malow has more than 30 years of experience in rigging, transporting, and setting large machinery, ranging from industrial and process equipment to sensitive laboratory apparatus. We can install a single piece of machinery or provide turnkey services for an entire facility.

From procurement to detailing and erection, working with steel is a core strength of Barton Malow for projects from healthcare to automotive and everything in between. Our steel leadership team has about 130 years of combined experience, and we are an American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) certified erector with a proven record of delivering clients the results they want.
