Barton Malow is excited to begin another downtown revitalization project! Along with our joint venture partner Clancy & Theys Construction Company, we’ve been selected to build a new MiLB Single-A baseball stadium for the City of Wilson, North Carolina.
Wilson Sports + Entertainment Complex (WiSE) will be home to the Carolina Mudcats, an affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, and seat more than 4,000 fans (with 3,500 of those seats being fixed seats). The scope of the stadium project also includes suites, party boxes, and a 360° concourse. The JV team will be working diligently over the next few years to get this stadium complete and open for the Mudcats’ 2026 inaugural season in the new stadium.
Wilson Sports + Entertainment Complex represents the beginning of a larger superblock project. Future phases of construction will include a hotel built within the stadium along the 3rd base line and a number of apartment buildings and mixed-use development in the outfield. We are excited to partner with the Mudcats, the City of Wilson, NSV Development, and Clancy & Theys to transform downtown Wilson!
