Barton Malow is leading the construction of the highly anticipated $260-million Cincinnati Open Campus Transformation project. In partnership with Beemok Capital and the Cincinnati Open, the project will elevate the iconic tennis tournament to new heights, creating an unparalleled experience for fans, players, and the community while preserving the Cincinnati Open’s rich 125-year heritage.
The core of this transformation is a commitment to enhancing the experiences for both players and fans, ensuring that the Cincinnati Open remains a premier destination for world-class tennis. The centerpiece of the project is a state-of-the-art 56,000-SF, two-story player center, which will provide world-class amenities for the athletes and their support teams. This facility will include lounges, restaurants, wellness and recovery rooms, and locker rooms for players and coaches, ensuring they have access to the best resources to perform at their peak and recover efficiently.
The campus will expand with 14 new courts, bringing the total to 31 courts across the grounds. This increase will accommodate the tournament’s growth to a 96-player draw while providing ample practice facilities for athletes. A new 2,000-seat sunken stadium will be constructed, becoming the fourth largest of the venue’s five permanent stadiums.
Fans can look forward to an elevated experience with several upgrades. These include improvements to the seating areas in Center Court and Grandstand Court, renovated hospitality suites, and the addition of new practice courts.
Barton Malow broke ground in early 2024 and has been actively working on-site, with a brief pause in August 2024 to accommodate the Cincinnati Open tournament. Our team has since resumed operations, pushing forward to complete the project before the 2025 Cincinnati Open.
