To celebrate the 25th Annual Women in Construction Week presented by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), this special edition of Said Differently – Beyond the Build profiles Barton Malow team members Senior Project Manager Linda Hatcher and Project Engineer La’Toya Tyson.
Linda has been part of the construction industry for over 40 years and is currently working on the University of Virginia Athletics Complex in Charlottesville, Virginia. La’Toya started as a LEAPS Intern at Barton Malow in 2017 and, after graduating college, is now working on the BayCare South Florida Baptist Replacement Hospital in Plant City, Florida. In this episode, Linda and La’Toya discuss their experiences as women in the construction industry, advice for women thinking about entering the field, and more.
