Crain’s Detroit Business has named Barton Malow Vice President of Branding + Communications Dana Galvin Lancour to its 2023 Notable Leaders in Marketing list. The list recognizes marketers across the Detroit region who have made notable contributions within the industry and community.
Dana joined Barton Malow in 2008 and has reimagined Barton Malow’s marketing strategy throughout her tenure, helping modernize the enterprise’s marketing and communications. Dana led her team during Barton Malow’s recent 2020 entity structure expansion and was a part of the core leadership team responsible for the planning, communication, and associated rebrand. During this time Dana helped successfully transform Barton Malow’s team member engagement, brand awareness, and client value proposition.

Dana is also an active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), earning her Certified Professional Services Marketer certification in 2009 and esteemed Fellow status in 2013. She has served on the SMPS board since 2020 as an at-large delegate and is now president-elect for the 7,000+ member organization. Dana also served on the board of the Detroit Economic Club’s Young Leaders and is a proud Leadership Detroit XXXVII Graduate.
