Barton Malow Chief Legal Officer Brandon Booth has been recognized by Crain’s Detroit as one of the publication’s ’40 Under 40’ honorees for 2024. Honorees were nominated by colleagues or peers and selected by Crain’s editors and reporters after a rigorous review process.
Brandon began his career at Barton Malow as an intern while pursuing a degree in construction management from Michigan State University. Upon graduation, he joined the construction firm full-time as a Project Engineer in the K12 Education group, working for clients across southeast Michigan, such as Grosse Pointe Public Schools, Southfield Public Schools, and Utica Community Schools.
He returned to school to pursue a law degree which led to positions at Howard & Howard Attorneys and Honigman, LLP, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and other transactional matters. He rejoined Barton Malow in August 2023 as its Chief Legal Officer.
As Barton Malow celebrates its 100th year of operation, Brandon is currently focused on implementing strategies that expand the firm’s business while providing substantial value to its clients.
