Blake Boyd has been named Director of the Charlotte office for Barton Malow Builders, the commercial and institutional division of the Barton Malow Enterprise. In his new role, Blake oversees all Carolinas operations, including collaborating with team members, clients, and partners to leverage new opportunities and ensure the successful execution of existing work.
Blake is passionate about construction and brings over 20 years of experience with a notable track record of excellence, project leadership, and superior performance. Joining Barton Malow in 2015, he’s worked in sports, higher education, healthcare, and commercial markets. Among Blake’s notable clients are Brown & Brown, the University of Central Florida, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the Carolina Panthers, The University of North Carolina Charlotte, and more.

Barton Malow has been building in the Carolinas for nearly 40 years, with a resume of notable projects that include Truist Field, the Kannapolis Downtown Revitalization Plan, Spartan Village at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, American Legion Memorial Stadium, and the UNC Charlotte Outdoor Event Venue + Tailgate Park.
Blake holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Marketing and a Master’s in Construction Science and Management, both from Clemson University.
