To celebrate this year’s Women in Construction Week presented by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), this edition of Said Differently – Beyond the Build profiles Barton Malow Project Manager Kim Hoffman.
After a career change from nonprofit work, Kim went back to school and joined Barton Malow’s Education group two years ago. She is currently working in Troy, Michigan, on the Troy School District’s bond program, with work taking place over the next 10 to 12 years. In this episode, Kim opens up about her transition into construction, her experience as a woman in the industry, and offers valuable advice for those considering a similar path.
