Barton Malow has been working on ways to better address construction’s impact on the environment and, through our Sustainability Community, develop initiatives that will reduce the organization’s environmental footprint. While some of these efforts are small, such as increasing recycling on jobsites and in offices, we’ve also identified major areas of focus, such as improving the traditional jobsite trailer and sourcing local materials.
STRXUR recently published an article about how Barton Malow is becoming more environmentally sustainable through our Sustainability Community initiatives, featuring Senior Project Engineer Quaid Spearing’s work on creating the “jobsite trailer of the future” and work to source local materials at his current project.
