Barton Malow took the top spot in Crain’s Detroit Business’ 2022 Largest General Contractors list, reporting $3.3 billion in revenue. Barton Malow also checked in at No. 1 on the largest general contractors list the last time the ranking was administered by Crain’s Detroit Business, reporting a $1.9 billion revenue. Crain’s Detroit Business’ Largest General Contractors list ranks firms in Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Wayne Counties. The entire list includes 31 companies. Crain’s data center tracks each company’s revenue, new contracts, local team members, and more in determining the list.
Founded in Detroit in 1924, Barton Malow has remained one of the foremost construction firms in Southeast Michigan for quite some time.
