Construction industry leaders Karen Voit and Andrew Yahner have joined Barton Malow as Project Executives in its Southeast Business Unit.
Karen is based in Barton Malow’s Charlotte office and will work to expand healthcare market strategies, relationship building, and growth opportunities in the Carolinas.
Karen has more than 30 years of experience in construction, beginning as a project engineer and working her way up to executive leadership roles with a multinational construction firm. She has an extensive background in the healthcare and commercial markets and experience managing and mentoring others.
“Barton Malow’s core values align with my personal values and I’m excited to get back to my roots in the healthcare market,” Karen says.

Andrew is based in Barton Malow’s Nashville office and will leverage his broad background and successful track record to build relationships, support market growth, and execute quality projects throughout Tennessee.
Andrew has nearly 20 years of experience in the industry and has worked for various national contractors in project management roles. He has experience building in a range of markets, including aviation, higher education, hospitality, and healthcare, and is known for a “people-first” approach that develops trusting relationships with clients and empowers project teams to achieve high performance levels.
“I’m excited to join Barton Malow and help the Nashville office grow,” he says. “It’s my goal to build great relationships with current clients, earn new clients, and grow Barton Malow’s footprint in central Tennessee in a sustainable way.”
Andrew is also active with several Nashville-area charities, including the Nashville Humane Society, Tucker’s House, and Second Harvest Food Bank. Professionally, he’s a member of the AGC’s Middle Tennessee Chapter, Urban Land Institute, and the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.
