Barton Malow has been named Engineering-News Record’s (ENR) 2023 Southeast Contractor of the Year, beating out more than 100 firms that participated in the annual top contractors ranking. The ranking is based on 2022 revenue.
ENR defines the Southeast Region as Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Puerto Rico. Barton Malow has either finished or is working on major programs in several of the states in this territory. Recently completed projects include American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, Camping World Stadium in Orlando, and Peppa Pig Theme Park. Select ongoing programs include Vanderbilt University’s Master Athletic Plan, Baycare South Florida Baptist Replacement Hospital, and Ultium Cells Spring Hill, Tennessee, among several others.
Barton Malow was founded in Detroit nearly 100 years ago and currently operates offices throughout the Eastern United States and Canada. The Southfield, Michigan-headquartered firm has offices in Nashville, Charlotte, Orlando, and Tampa within ENR’s Southeast Region coverage area. In addition to revenue, ENR noted Barton Malow’s commitment to lean construction, safety, and team member development.
