Barton Malow has hired Walter Jones as Senior Director + Healthcare Market Leader. In this role, he will leverage his broad background and successful track record of building relationships while improving the outcomes of projects for clients across the nation to further grow Barton Malow’s industry-leading healthcare portfolio. He will be based out of Barton Malow’s Nashville office but will support work acquisition, brand awareness, and the development of market strategies to create win-win results across the enterprise’s national footprint.

Healthcare Construction Leader
As a 30-year veteran of the design and construction industry, Walter’s diverse career began after graduating with a civil engineering degree from Vanderbilt University. Since that time, he has gained experience in structural engineering, preconstruction, project management, business development, and real estate development. In addition to holding several industry certifications, including as a LEED Accredited Professional from the US Green Building Council, Walter has also presented, and guest lectured for over a dozen speaking engagements for various institutions across the country. As Co-Chair of the Benefit-Cost Committee, he also helped author a notable, national publication for the Facility Guidelines Institute’s 2022 Healthcare Guidelines Revision Committee (HGRC).
