Barton Malow Builders has named two experienced construction professionals, Janet Brooks and Stacy Sleeper, as Senior Business Strategy Managers. Both Janet and Stacy will lead the development of business and market strategies, strategic relationships, and opportunity growth in key regions for Barton Malow Builders in their new roles. Janet and Stacy are based out of Charlotte, North Carolina and Columbus, Ohio, respectively.
Experienced Construction Professionals
Janet has over 35 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. Prior to joining Barton Malow, she spent 15 years as director of business development for an architecture and engineering firm in Charlotte where she led successful pursuits of numerous high-profile projects throughout the Carolinas and beyond.
Janet is a highly regarded thought leader in AEC marketing and business development. She has received several notable honors, including the GlobeSt. Women of Influence Award, ATHENA Leadership Award, and induction into the Society for Marketing Professional Services’ 2021 Class of Fellows. Janet received her Bachelor of Science in commercial design from Appalachian State University.

Stacy began her career in commercial construction at the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio, where she served as Director of Membership and Services. In this role, she recruited and retained nearly 800 commercial construction firms and solidified countless industry relationships throughout the region. She is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University.
