Barton Malow and Impulse Partners have teamed to create an open innovation initiative dedicated to accelerating startups and their technology deployment on construction jobsites to benefit the future of the construction industry. Specifically, the Barton Malow Accelerator Program seeks innovative solutions in solar energy projects, autonomous reality capture, underground utility mapping, and landscape feasibility analysis.
“At Barton Malow, we’re always on the lookout for solutions to help us build our projects better – whether it’s our team members presenting an idea or an external solution,” says Barton Malow Vice President of Business Transformation Lindsey Rem. “Together with Impulse Partners, we hope to continue to uncover solutions in the four strategic areas we identified while also helping startup firms accelerate their business.”
Startups with a ready-to-test solution that address one of the identified challenges and that are ready to operate and scale the solution are invited to apply to the Barton Malow Accelerator Program. If they are selected, they’ll be invited to pitch their idea to a panel of Barton Malow executives with the potential of scaling their solution across Barton Malow projects.
The Accelerator Program provides a unique platform for selected start-ups, granting them access to pilot projects, industry experts, networking opportunities, and essential resources to cultivate and scale their businesses.
