On Tuesday, May 21, Barton Malow, along with our partner Pioneer, Grand Action 2.0 representatives, city officials, and donors, gathered to mark the official Acrisure Amphitheater groundbreaking in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The amphitheater aims to redefine entertainment in the West Michigan region.
The entertainment hub will span 10 acres along the Grand River, just south of downtown Grand Rapids. This project promises to foster community cohesion, expand cultural gathering opportunities, and infuse vitality into the surrounding area.
Features include 7,000 covered seats and 5,000 uncovered lawn seats. Food and beverage spaces will further enhance the entertainment experience by offering various options for event attendees. Additional amenities include a performance platform, a talent villa for performers, and dedicated facilities for ticketing and refreshments.
The anticipated completion date for the Acrisure Amphitheater is spring 2026.
