Barton Malow earned the praise of Scott Landry, executive vice president for strategic development, YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit.
“Every once in a while, the YMCA comes across professionals who excel above and beyond the requirements of their job. In the development and construction industry, these individuals are becoming rare. Yet we seem to come across several every time we work with Barton Malow.
During the recent construction of the Y at the Renaissance Center, your team was given a seemingly impossible task: Constructing over 12,000 sf of complicated space to the specifications of three very demanding owners. As if this were not enough, the timeline was approximately four months.
This would not have happened without such a dedicated and exceptional team. At no time did the YMCA believe that we would not hit our critical targeted opening of January 2.
I applaud Barton Malow for retaining these quality team members. It will be our pleasure and privilege to work with them again.”
