BUILDING INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS

A Multipurpose Arena in the Heart of College Park

For any sports fan there's nothing like the thrill of watching athletes compete live. With The Gateway Center @ College Park (GCCP), we're aiming to give fans the opportunity to do that and more. This state-of-the-art multipurpose arena will give the community a place to find entertainment unlike any other.

Excitement of All Kinds

Set to be complete by Fall 2019, the GCCP arena will feature 100,000+ square-feet of space for fans, concertgoers and event attenders to revel in excitement. But this isn't your run-of-the-mill stadium. The arena seating bowl is entirely below grade level, providing fans with a unique way to catch the NBA's Atlanta Hawks' G-League squad (their developmental team), see their favorite musicians, or watch a nephew's graduation.

"This multipurpose arena will bring a much-needed venue for sporting events, concerts, graduation ceremonies, and more to the city, broadening the entertainment opportunities for the south metro area," The city of College Park, Mayor Jack Longino said in a press release.

Working Together

Behind this project is a strong sense of collaboration. With project partners BDR Partners, The Collaborative Firm and more, we led a number of community outreach events including: The Annual College Park KidsFest, the 2017 Annual Business & Industrial Development Authority Awards, Family Reading Night at the College Park Library and Councilman Roderick Gays Inauguration. By entering this project hand-in-hand with the community, its people and our partners, we're excited to give the city of College Park an exciting new place to enjoy.

“There's a difference when you work with a family-owned company. It's a lot like how we grew up - you learn by what you see around you. Hard work, dedication, encouragement, doing the right thing & treating others as you want to be treated. I believe that's what make Barton Malow's culture different from our competition.”
